Shortlisted Houses Award 2020 House Alteration & Addition over 200sqm - CLT House
Commencing as a one month contract delivering architectural and interior construction documentation for a significant residential alteration and addition, over time the arrangement grew organically into a valuable relationship delivering high-quality work across all facets of architectural documentation and contract administration for commercial and residential projects.
Design-focused achitectural solutions required careful detailing and innovative applications of materials and systems for facades, complex roof arrangements, custom joinery, hardware and emerging building techniques including CLT construction.
Projects included:
- $1mil extension and interior fitout to 1930s character residence in Armadale;
- $400k interior fitout for Fitzroy Townhouse; and
- 300sqm CLT addition to residence in Merricks.
